The March of the Living

He has supported such as the March of the Living. Held each year on Holocaust Memorial Day, the March of the Living draws Jewish people from around the globe to Poland for a ceremonial march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, two of the most notorious concentration camps during World War II.

More than 260,000 people have participated in the 3-kilometer march since the event’s founding more than three decades ago. Marchers share a spirit of remembrance and a commitment to never again allow a similar atrocity to occur.
